'ASSISTING
SUICIDE' - YOUR CHANCE TO SPEAK
As you
may know, there is a relentless tide of media and secularist pressure towards the decriminalisation of assisting someone to
commit suicide. Although this is an emotive issue, it is important that the absolute value of every human life should be defended.
The DPP has launched a consultation process and you can be a part of that. To make your response go to www.cps.gov.uk/consultations/aspolicy.html or phone the Crown Prosecution Service on 0207 796 8000 and ask for a copy of the consultation document.
Advice on what you should mention in your response can be found on the Bishop's Conference Website at www.catholicchurch.org.uk Please do make the effort to have your say. Communications Technology has made it easier than ever, so please do have your
say.
